Thought about getting this tattoo for a while. I'm so happy I finally got it done. Not gonna lie it was a tad painful, more when I got a touch-up as the ink can fall out easier than other types of tattoos, but its here to stay now and I lovve it.
I titled this blog Rebirth because I've had to do some soul-searching so to speak. Needed to work out the direction of the next project to make sure it's the best that it can be, and that it represents me. God knows I can't wait to finish it and you'll definitely know when it's ready. Hopefully sooner than later!
The artist has stated: Most of my work deals with the injured warmth of memory or disrupted fantasies. I believe that in every person's heart live two children - one that turns to the light and another that feeds on darkness. For one's entire life one must look after and appease these two children. The doll-like characters have already suffered some hurt in their life, which might not leave behind a scar or bruise, but marks what is pure.
Swedish electronic pop duo met whilst making music for theatre. They were also in a folk group, The Dora Steins a few years back. They were recently nominated for BBC Sound of 2012 My fave song from them at the moment is The Drummer�. Here�s the video! Amazing!
